The Alfred Simulation Centre our expertise in simulation, experiential learning and solution design delivers great outcomes to the toughest health challenges. Uniting all health stakeholders, we shape productive, sustainable results enabling our partners to become leaders in their field.
Cardiology - The Alfred Heart Centre assess and treat patients with adult cardiovascular (heart) diseases, including the most advanced forms of coronary, valvular, heart muscle and heart rhythm disorders.
Intensive Care Unit - The Alfred Hospital Intensive Care Unit is one of Australia’s leading Intensive Care Units.
It is a university attached quaternary referral centre, providing State Services for heart & lung transplantation (including paediatric lung transplantation), artificial heart technology, extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), burns and hyperbaric medicine. It also provides Victoria’s Adult Cystic Fibrosis and Pulmonary Hypertension services.
Melbourne Sexual Health Centre - has been in operation since 1917. In this time it has established a reputation of excellence and innovation.
The Australian National Trauma Research Institute – Integrating Injury Research, Education, Medical Technologies and Trauma Systems Development to improve clinical care and outcomes.
Alfred Health Radiation Oncology has state of the art radiation therapy and continues to invest in equipment and techniques at its clinics in Melbourne and Traralgon.
